Information For Our Guests

What to Expect:

We know the feeling of visiting a church for the first time, and our desire is for you to feel welcome and know what to expect upon your arrival so your focus can be on worship.

Parking

There is no “assigned parking” at Heritage, but there are spaces reserved for handicap access nearest the glass doors on either side of the building. We invite you to use these places for your convenience if necessary.

Fellowship

On Sunday mornings, we have a breakfast fellowship between Sunday School and the morning church service. Sunday School classes conclude at 10:30, and coffee, juice, and breakfast foods are available in the fellowship hall from 10:30 until 10:45. Many of the visitors and church family will be there enjoying a time of fellowship and sharing some of the blessings of the past week. It’s a wonderful time to get to know the family!

Nursery

If you have children aged 3 and younger, we invite you to use our nursery at your convenience. It is staffed with loving nursery workers that will take great care of your children in a clean environment and allow you to sing and listen attentively during the worship hour. If you choose to not use the nursery, it is perfectly fine that your children be seated with you in the sanctuary.

Worship

You will find that our song service is filled with traditional hymns that exalt our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The worship hour is to magnify Christ, not ourselves. The preaching is meant to edify and challenge believers to a Spirit-filled walk with Christ as well as facilitate conviction by the Holy Spirit so those who have never trusted in Jesus will be saved. We use the Authorized King James Version of the Bible in each service and encourage you to bring the same so that you may follow along.

Offering

Each week, we have a time of giving of tithes and offerings for our members. This is a time of worship, just as the song service and the preaching hour, as we thank God for what He has blessed us in returning to him tithes and offerings. We do not ask that visitors participate in the giving unless it is your desire, but do ask that you place a visitors card in the offering plate as it goes by so we can have a record of your visit.

Children's Church

A Children’s Church is provided for those aged 3-5 years old which is dismissed at the latter end of the song service. The children are not required to attend, but it is available and is a time of sound Bible teaching, songs, and fun for the kids.

We do hope that this has been informative for you and look forward to seeing you in our next service!
