Ministries That Impact

In Psalm 12, David stated, “Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.” In order to ensure that we don’t fall into the same pattern as David recognized, the men of Heritage take time to meet on the second Saturday of each month for fellowship, devotions, and prayer so we can be established for the cause of Christ.
1 Timothy 6:11-12 sets a pattern for godly men.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.  Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
A godly man must FLEE, FOLLOW, and FIGHT for the faith to secure his role as a man of God.
The Ladies of Heritage meet monthly for a time of devotion and fellowship. Some studies may be from popular authors and others are the fruit of individual studies, but each meeting is designed to promote personal growth in Christ, a godly home, and a strong unity of the church.
Master Clubs is a children's ministry for ages 4 through 6th grade which meets on Tuesday nights during the school year from 6:30-8:00pm.
The purpose is:

To Evangelize children by helping church leaders with the ideas, promotional tools, and effective ways of reaching children with the gospel.

  • To Disciple children includes teaching leaders what significant discipleship is, how to implement it in a practical way, and providing tools to get it done.

  • To Teach children God's Holy Word, carefully, both in lesson, memory, and in life style. Projects will motivate children to "live out" the truth that is taught. Leaders must role model their teaching and preaching.

  • To Train children how to serve the Lord, based upon their characteristics and their capabilities. The goal is to do now what the child is capable of doing, and to instill into them that the opportunities abound to serve the Lord in some ministry role as a lifetime pursuit.

  • To Provide Opportunities in the church for children to serve the Lord in a very meaningful way. To teach and encourage local leaders to train their children to function in some ministry. To provide multiple opportunities for those who are willing to serve. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

A second Children’s Ministry of Heritage is Keepers of the Faith and is for ages 8-14. The girls group is “Keepers at Home” which meets twice per month at scheduled times. The purpose is to equip them to be competent, skilled young ladies who are not only willing, but able to take a stand for the Lord Jesus Christ. They learn how to defend their faith as well as serve with the skills and abilities in which God has equipped them.

Foundations is an extension of the Foundations Sunday School Class and is focused on developing young families in the principles and teachings of God's Word. Many understand the Bible as the Holy Scriptures, yet fail to make the realization that God has preserved it for us to truly LIVE by. He gives us what we need to resolve problems that arise in marriage, finances, family matters, child rearing, and every other area of life. With Foundations, homes are opened during the month to spend time together focusing on these issues of great importance.
